Arrival by plane
Padova is easily accessible by the following nearby airports.
1) Venice Marco Polo (53 Km from conference venue). This is the biggest international airport in the region of Veneto. From the airport, there are regular buses to the Padova bus station (journey: approximately 1 hour) or, in alternative, very frequent buses to the train station Venezia Mestre, from where a short journey on a regional train can take you to Padova.
2) Treviso (55 Km from conference venue). This is a small airport, often served by low cost companies. From the airport, there are regular buses to Padova (journey: approximately 1 hour).
3) Verona (91 Km from conference venue). A shuttle bus outside the terminal will take you to the main train station (Verona Porta Nuova), from which you have regular trains to Padova.
4) Bologna (119 Km from conference venue). Outside the terminal, a monorail service carries you to the main train station (Bologna Centrale) from which regular trains to Padova are also available.
Arrival by train
Padova is well-connected to other major italian cities by train. There are direct trains from/to Padova to/from Rome, Milan, Turin, Venice, Verona, Bologna, Florence, Naples among other cities. Furthermore, there are occasional international direct trains from other neighbouring european cities such as Munich, Innsbruck or Zurich.
