The conference brings together researchers and professionals from the fields of economics, finance, engineering, data science, and mathematics who are engaged in Energy, Finance, and Climate‑change research.
Participants are invited to submit contributed talks or proposals for organized sessions addressing a wide spectrum of theoretical and applied topics within these domains.
Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- energy finance and risk management;
- energy forecasting and analytics;
- energy innovation and market dynamics;
- energy supply chain management;
- energy storage technologies;
- carbon pricing and emission trading;
- financing of energy infrastructure;
- climate policy and risk assessment;
- climate change and market efficiency;
- renewable energy sources.

The congress will include special thematic sessions, referred to as Contributed Sessions.
Organizers are invited to submit proposals for such sessions.
Each proposal should include a session title and three to four talks.
Each talk is expected to be a long talk, speakers are required to individually submit a full paper together with their presentation, indicating that their contribution is part of a contributed session.

The congress will include contributed talks of two types: Long Talks and Short Talks.
Long Talks will have a duration of 25 minutes followed by 5 minutes of
discussion, while Short Talks will have a duration of 15 minutes in total.
For a Short Talk to be accepted, the submission must include an extended abstract
of at least four pages.
For a Long Talk to be accepted, a full paper submission is required.
A full paper is defined as a work that has been submitted for publication,
already published, or available in preprint form.
All submissions will be subject to peer review by the Scientific Committee, which will evaluate the contributions and determine their acceptance and final presentation format (short or long).

EFI Prize
The Energy Finance Italia (EFI) Award is a financial prize of
€500 granted for an outstanding complete scientific paper.
The award is reserved for authors born after January 1st, 1996
who present their contribution at the conference.
To apply for the award, candidates must submit a copy of their full paper
(not an abstract) and a curriculum vitae (CV) including the
date of birth.
In their submission must indicate their application for the prize.
The submission process follows the same procedure as for other conference contributions.
