Title: The Effective 2-Topos as a (2,1)-Exact Completion

Abstract: In recent work with J. Frey, we defined a putative Effective 2-topos as the (2,1)-category of sheaves of coherent groupoids on the category of assemblies. After briefly reviewing the construction, in this follow-up talk we shall establish some of the basic properties that justify this definition.
