Mini-courses in Mathematical Analysis 2012


We announce that the Mini-courses in Mathematical Analysis 2012 will be held at the Dipartimento di Matematica and at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile, Edile ed Ambientale from June 18 to June 22. The program consists of four courses and a limited number of short communications. The courses are the following:

Multilinear Kakeya and restriction: estimates, connections and applications

The biharmonic Steklov boundary value problem: positivity preserving and eigenvalues
by Prof. Filippo Gazzola
Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
Recent development in extension theory. Applications to Schrödinger operators with point interactions
by Prof. Mark Malamud
National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine di Donetsk, Ukraine.
Nonstandard phenomena in the qualitative analysis of stationary problems governed by non-homogeneous differential operators
by Prof. Vicentiu Radulescu
Romanian Academy di Bucharest, Romania.

Each course will take place in room LuF1, located in Via Luzzatti n. 8, Padova, Italy (see map).

The meeting aims at introducing the participants to important current research fields in Mathematical Analysis. The meeting is particularly indicated not only to graduate students, postdocs and young researchers but also to well-established experts in Mathematical Analysis.
