HOW TO REACH TRENTO

BY TRAIN

Trento can be reached from Milan (Milano Centrale railway station), Verona (Verona Porta Nuova railway station) and Venezia (either via Verona or directly to Levico Terme via Valsugana railway line). See timetable of trenitalia.

BY PLANE

The main nearest airport is in Verona (Valerio Catullo airport). Other nearest airports are in Milan (Linate and Malpensa), Venice (Marco Polo) and Bergamo. Some low-cost companies fly to the close Brescia and Treviso airports. A last possibility might be flying to Bologna airport.

Verona, Milan and Venice airport connections:

  • Verona is approximately one hour from Trento with connections via buses and trains. If you catch the train, take a bus at the airport to Verona Porta Nuova railway station (the shuttle service operates daily from 5.35 a.m. to 11.10 p.m. every 20 minutes). The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. The train trip to Trento lasts about 1 hour.
  • From either Milan airports you can catch a bus or a taxi to reach Milano Centrale railway station directly outside the airports. Buses leave every 20 minutes. Trains from Milan to Trento are frequent and the journey takes approximately 3 hours.
  • Venice airport is connected to the railway stations of Venezia-Mestre and Venezia-Santa Lucia by bus services. Details can be found on the airport website. From Venezia railway stations you can reach Trento via Verona or go directly to Levico Terme via the Valsugana railway line.

HOW TO REACH LEVICO TERME

Levico Terme is located about 20 km from Trento through the Valsugana road (Strada Statale SS 47) connecting Trento to Padova and Venice. You can reach Levico Terme from Trento by train, bus or taxi. Starting from Venezia-Santa Lucia railway station there are trains going directly to Levico Terme via the Valsugana railway line. This journey takes about 2 hours and a half.
