Abstract:In this talk we present some recente results on compactness and existence of solutions for elliptic radial problems in the whole space. Potentials that can vanish or be singular both at zero and infinity are taken in account. Suitable weighted Sobolev spaces are considered, and compactness results are obtained for the embeddings of such spaces in sum of weighted Lebesgue spaces.
