For people arriving by train, it is easy to reach the Dipartimento di Matematica "Tullio Levi-Civita" on foot from the rail station (a walk of less than 15 minutes): on leaving the main entrance of the railway station, one should turn left, walk about 100 meters and go forward along the right side of the fork in the road toward the large church and the first traffic light. At the light, bear (but don't turn) left (keeping the church on your left) and continue along Via N. Tommaseo (the main street) for about 100 meters until arriving at the Fiera di Padova. At the Fiera di Padova one takes the side street on the right (Via E. Berlinguer) and walks along the left-hand side of the street about 50 meters until the street changes name and becomes Via Nancy. One then proceeds along Via Nancy for approximately another 50 meters and then turns left (continuing along the same sidewalk) into Via Trieste. The Dipartimento di Matematica "Tullio Levi-Civita" is then about 30 meters further along Via Trieste. It is the large grey building with red markings around the roof.
